THE UNFORGETTABLE PROJECT

Imbuing social movements with unforgettable art.

How might we reclaim our ability to dream of a better future, and act on it?

The Unforgettable Project centers art as a catalyst for hope, discourse, and direct action that highlights new ways in which consumption can be regenerative and human existence can yield a net positive impact to nature.

WHAT WE DO

If Marketing exists to convert eyeballs into dollars, Art exists to inspire, educate, and fuel imaginative possibilities. Both need to coexist to create lasting change in cultural mindset.

Most innovators are focused on tactical solutions. They are chronically under-resourced. While they may have the capacity to solve problems brilliantly, they often lack the bandwidth to tell that story.

At this early stage, even the best ideas may only go as far as the limited marketing budget.

The Unforgettable Project uses the collective power of art and philanthropy to build grand campaigns around environmentally net-positive action.

Led by artist and activist Benjamin Von Wong, The Fund goes towards creating one-of-a-kind large scale art installations that celebrates net-positive innovations. Work is done alongside crowd-sourced volunteers from the local community. We then produce accompanied storytelling packages for omni-channel platforms – social, videos, remixes, etc – to support viral exposure on a global scale.

Our work has received the Guiness World Record for art installation made from 168,000 plastic straws. We have collaborated with the United Nations in Nairobi, Kenya on an installation for the Global Plastic Treaty. We put together the “Trashtopia” exhibition at the World Economic Forum in Davos. We collaborated with Ryan Reynolds on the documentary film “Curb Your Carbon”. And, with GreenpeaceUSA, we built the “Skull of Satoshi” at the UN Climate Week, to name a few.

To date, our campaigns have generated over 1 Billion views across the planet.

TO PARTICIPATE

Three ways to support The Unforgettable Project

  1. Through consortium. We are always looking for new partners working on cutting-edge innovation that helps the climate crisis and environmental sustainability. If you are a venture capital firm, a fund, a university, or entities that are working on projects worth spotlighting, contact us. Consortium seats for The Unforgettable Project are limited.

  2. Through a platform for discourse. You have a platform for change. You’d like to collaborate with us on a campaign. Contact us.

  3. Through philanthropy. Those who contribute more than $10,000 annually get a seat on the Unforgettable Council. Please contact us to learn more about donor benefits.

HOW WE WORK

Through our consortium, we partner with venture capital firms, universities, and entities with resources to scientifically and commercially vet the viability of net-positive innovations to help us curate a short list of what’s worth spotlighting.

We partner with organizations that can offer our art a platform for discourse. Often this is tied to an event where changemakers congregate.

Benjamin Von Wong creates art on a grand scale that goes beyond awe. We do this alongside local partners that can offer volunteers and/or other resource help along the way. We believe that a movement is created by many hands working towards a shared objective.

We produce accompanied storytelling packages to support viral exposure on a global scale.

Let’s work together.
